- The European long-distance path E4 has now been extended to Cyprus, where the Cyprus Tourism Organisation has created a 539km route from Paphos to Larnaca. It's waymarked with the yellow E4 metal markers also used in Greece.

- And in Denmark, the missing section of the E1 has been completed. This follows the 80km Molsruten from Grenå to Aarhus, then the routes to Silkeborg and the Haervej near Vrads.
